Mela 6.14 Update: Pitch Ramp Module
I’m currently busy working on Mela 7.0. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been rearchitecting some of Mela’s internals to support undo and redo functionality. While version 7 is still in progress, here’s a small Mela 6.14 Christmas update in the meantime.
Mela 6.14 introduces the Pitch Ramp module, a simple but powerful way to create pitch envelopes. On note-on, it linearly ramps the Pitch signal toward the incoming value over a defined interval. The ramp can be set in seconds or synced to tempo, and the Range parameter, from -48 s to +48 s, defines the pitch offset the ramp starts from.
